Next Steps:

An individual may unlock the ability to start the Level 1 Certification process after:

  1. Attending 10 Website Accessibility and Usability Evaluations, and
  2. Collecting 10 unique Proof of Attendance Protocol NFTs (referred to as POAPs)

Level 1 Certification Process

To qualify for your Level 1 Certificate, complete these steps:

  1. Fill out Level 1 Certificate application form
    1. Submit proof of POAPs (screenshot)
    2. Answer a few basic questions about yourself
    3. Submit Stakeholder Slide Deck Presentation
      1. Record a 5 minute presentation using Loom (free version) or any other video recording platform / software.
      2. Show examples for the 3 main issues you would suggest the organization address, including visual support to describe changes if needed.
    4. Knowledge Check: 11 open text questions. This is “open-book” - you have access to all information in recordings and your notes.

Process of Certification Approval

In the consideration of each Acolyte’s application, Maigen (and, in the future, Level 2 Apprentices and above) will review the submissions:

Certificate of Achievement

Once an applicant has successfully submitted all required information and has been approved, they will receive notice via email congratulating them and delivering their individual, personalized Certificate of Achievement.

Once Level 1 Certification has been achieved, you can begin the process of qualifying for Level 2 Certification.
