To Start:
In order to qualify for Level 1 Certification, you must
- Attend 10 Website Accessibility and Usability Evaluations, and
- Collect 10 unique Proof of Attendance Protocol NFTs (referred to as POAPs)

Level 1 Certification Process
Once you have fulfilled your attendance requirements and collected your POAPs, follow these steps:
- Complete a Stakeholder Slide Deck Presentation for 1 of the 10 website evaluations in which you attended (here’s a template).
- Show examples for the 3 main issues you would suggest the organization address, including visual support to describe changes if needed.
- Record a 5 minute presentation using Loom (free version) or any other video recording platform / software.
- It is not necessary for your face to appear on the screen during the recording.
- Narrate the slides as if you were presenting them to the stakeholders.
- Set video and presentation link to “Anyone with the link can view”
- Fill out Level 1 Certificate application form
- Submit proof of POAPs (screenshot)
- Answer a few basic questions about yourself
- Submit Stakeholder Slide Deck Presentation
- Submit video of presentation
- Complete the Knowledge Check: 11 open text questions. This is “open-book” - you have access to all information in recordings and your notes.
Process of Certification Approval
In the consideration of each Acolyte’s application, Maigen (and, in the future, Level 2 Apprentices and above) will review the submissions:
- Application Form Submission
- Stakeholder Slide Deck and Video
Certificate of Achievement
Once an applicant has successfully submitted all required information and has been approved, they will receive notice via email congratulating them and delivering their individual, personalized Certificate of Achievement.
