Welcome to the Level 11 Technology Apprenticeship Program!

Our program is designed to provide apprentices with hands-on experience in user experience (UX) design and digital accessibility evaluation. Through collaborative and growth-focused projects, apprentices gain valuable skills while working in a supportive and inclusive environment.

What You Can Expect Incoming cohorts begin their journey by working on a project for a non-profit client. These projects typically span 2.5 months and are divided into two key phases: strategy and implementation. Successful apprentices who are invited to continue on future projects may progress to paid client work. Compensation for these paid projects is determined through a bounty system, ensuring fair payment for completed tasks.

This remote program requires a time commitment of approximately 10 hours per week for asynchronous work, plus two weekly meetings averaging 1.5 hours each. Throughout the program, apprentices focus on their areas of interest to develop a unique case study, which can be showcased in their professional portfolios.

This role is fully remote! The job listing process on LinkedIn requires a location, and will not allow ‘Fully Remote’ as an option. Sorry for the confusion, that’s a LinkedIn issue.

Expectations

  1. Show Up: By joining as an apprentice, you are committing to yourself, your cohort, the client, and Level 11 Technology. Regular attendance at team meetings is essential.
  2. Communicate: Life happens, and we understand that. If you’re unable to attend a meeting or need help with a task, it’s your responsibility to communicate your needs promptly so the team can adjust accordingly.
  3. Collaborate: While you’ll have the opportunity to specialize in an area of interest within the client project, active participation in other project areas is vital. This teamwork enriches your cohort experience and enhances the overall success of the project.
  4. Support: At Level 11 Technology, we foster an inclusive, respectful, and reflective environment. We encourage you to ask questions, voice your ideas, and advocate for yourself and your work. This program is designed to help you grow into the best version of yourself and prepare for the next stage in your career.
